BAKUDEKU WEEKLY PROMPTS — April 15 – May 13, 2019

Starting on April 15, we’ll be hosting a 4 week-long event where anyone can participate: the BakuDeku Weekly Prompts event!

We’re providing general prompts for each week which will be in bold, and two other alternative prompts listed below. We want you to get creative with these ideas, so think outside of the box, or be comfortable as you work on a piece we want you to be proud of! As long as you’re happy with your piece, we’ll be happy too! Just remember: everything has to be connected to the Fantasy universe in one way or another!

APRIL 15 – 21:  Role Reversal / Birthday / Paradise

APRIL 22 – 28:  Red String of Fate / Magic / Heat

APRIL 29 – MAY 5:  Folktales / Secrets / Mythical Creatures

MAY 6 – 13:  Origins / Childhood / Stars

“Izuku Midoriya is ten years old, and unofficially the chief of his tribe. As such, he's allowed to go on hunting expeditions (as long as is mom went) even though he wasn't technically old enough yet. He often got distracted and wandered off, only usually he didn't stumble across a dragon.

This time was different.”

it’s a bit late, but here’s my fic for week one of @abkdkzine‘s weekly prompt challenge! week one is role reversal!

Katsuki Bakugou is fighting to become the most powerful warrior in all the lands. He's conquered everyone else; there's only one kingdom that stands against him. After an ambush and a close call, Katsuki visits the Oracle for a way to assure victory. However, the prophecy he's given involves killing his childhood friend, a unicorn maiden he only remembers as 'Deku'. Will the promise of victory be too tempting to stop Katsuki from hurting his first and only love?

I FINALLY FINISHED! this was the fic I couldn’t finish a month ago because of writer’s block. I’m so happy I finally finished and posted it!

"The thought of a complete stranger having such an effect on Katsuki made his stomach churn uncomfortably. Rather than feel a desire to seek out his soulmate, he felt the exact opposite. If a stranger you never met could have so much power over you, then Katsuki didn't want to know how much control they would have if he was to meet them. 'Don't ever try to find me, you bastard,' he whispered to the string..."

Katsuki Bakugou hopes whoever is attached to the other end of the red string never comes looking for him. Luckily, his soulmate is a determined fellow.
