‼️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING SHIPPING OF WANDERLUST ZINES ‼️
If you purchased Wanderlust and have not yet received your items, this announcement is imperative. PLEASE READ THIS POST IN ITS ENTIRETY.
We are deeply saddened to say that our Head Mod, Ari, has done the equivalent of ghosting us. Though our other Mods have been able to make occasional contact, it is nowhere near reliable, and there is currently no evidence that Ari will ever return.
Ari has been handling shipping of the zine herself. For the last few months we have been in a perpetual state of “only a few packages left to send,” which has dragged out calculating final profits and paying our contributors to an ungodly length of time.
She has sole control of the full funds of Wanderlust and either cannot or will not make them accessible. Though we Mods have a small amount available to try and cover as many refunds as possible, we are missing over $13,000.
The last time we can prove Ari did any work for the zine is October 24th. This was supposed to be another round of packages being sent, and with any luck, they actually were. Directly after this Ari disappeared again.
This trend of doing something small for the zine then disappearing for great lengths has been going on for months. We are very worried that she will continue doing this with longer and longer absences until she finally disappears entirely.
We make this announcement to both inform the general public of our status as a zine and to ask our customers who have not received their items to email us immediately at [email protected]. We are attempting to cover as many refunds as we can, but we are limited.
We are currently contacting the people who previously reached out about their lost or unsent items and will be giving those refunds priority, as well as anyone who is still waiting on a preorder.
From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely apologize that it has come to this. We know this zine is a beautiful collection of art and writing and we want it in your hands as much as you do. Should Ari return, we will insure your orders are still sent to you, free of charge.
