To avoid future misunderstandings of translation posts, admin Bunny thinks it's a must to make this post in order to avoid any of the misunderstandings, be it between fanbases or individuals.
Bunny, aka me, the translator for this blog or any blogs, only translate mandarin to english/ cantonese to english, and all my sources are either from weibo or tieba. I do not use my tumblr frequently except for updating fanbases blogs, which is another reason why I'd want to get this clear and done so that every one would not be paranoid that we, or me, stealing your works.
I'm sure nobody would like to have someone stealing your work, or have been stolen. Me too, I do know how it feel like. That is another reason why I am doing this post as well.
Like I've mentioned, all my sources are from chinese sites, I do not follow fanbases blog on tumblr much because I depend on chinese sites all the time for infos. I translate it into english for the fandom as I know that there are a number of fans who aren't chinese and want to get infos as quickly as possible when the korean translators are busy (there's left with chinese translators like me to do the work, to share at least half of their burdens when they're busy with their personal life.) I'm doing this to share whatever I know with the fandom.
My english is bad, and I'm afraid many of you will not understand what I'm sharing with you. I apologise for that. For example, an admin from a blog actually thought that we've copied their source (No hard feelings, just an example!), I don't think that's a valid reason of us copying their source without giving any credits.
If we really did that, we would have and should have given the credits to rightful owners, and also, reblog it instead of publishing it as a new post. (to be honest, even though we're admins of this blog and it's our responsible to keep you guys updated with the latest news, sometimes it's actually a hassle to copy and paste stuffs unless we're willing to and have the motivation to, so we often reblog instead.)
Even though we're a new fanbase for bangtan, I don't think we're really that noob (def: a person who is inexperienced in a particular sphere or activity, especially computing or the use of the Internet.) to not know we should give credits to them.
Plus, my english is really bad (from my point of view), I can never include large words for translations, never. I use small words instead, because some fans from the same fandom might not be able to understand large words as well, also to save trouble for them to google it.
Not having any hard feelings or to stir an argument up, just my thought, my point of view when people coming to us telling us that we've actually copied their sources. There's something in me is pushing me to do this to let all of you know beforehand.
My main point for this post is that we translate whatever we see, whatever is there for us to translate from any chinese sites, we do not copy and paste from one's post and claim it's ours. Also, most of our translated post (the ones we reblog) are from bts-trans, I'm sure most of you guys know them.
Also, if majority of the followers from this blog (which is you guys~) think that we shouldn't post our own translations anymore, we will not anymore. You guys can drop us an inbox message if you'd like us to stop translating! ^^
As of now, Bunny will still continue to translate random stuffs from/of Bangtan. There's no reason for me to stop, at least for now.
Have a good week ahead!
