Did you know there is currently an event to celebrate the upcoming release of One Piece 1,000th episode, on the 21st November ? Well, now you do ♥
Toei Animation is organizing a big challenge : break the record for the greatest digital photo album of all time. It means, collecting 20,000 (or more) wanted notices (the link to the website is below if you want, you’ll be able to make your own poster there). Oh and there’s is a draw as well — every 1,000 selfies, someone is randomly selected and win some gifts. That’s cool, isn’t it ?
As you can see, I’ve participated ! I wasn’t sure I was gonna post it on Tumblr — ‘cause I’m actually quite insecure about myself — but I really wanted to speak a little about this event. You know, ever since I’ve begun watching One Piece as a child, I wanted my own One Piece poster. That’s a bit stupid, I mean I could have make one for myself, but with this one, it kinda feels “official” somehow ? Anyway, my inner child is happy, haha! 🥰
What’s quite funny with my wanted notice is that, by chance, it suits my devil fruit quite well. One of my friends and I had a talk before about what would be our devil fruit if we could have one, and what power would it be. Mine was the Hōru-Hōru no Mi and it gives me the ability to create wormholes/black holes (to put it simply, though we got quite specific about the strenghts and weeknesses of our respective fruits 😂). He rightfully made me notice that, with this picture, it seems like I’m emerging from one of the wormholes I can materialize. My picture choice feels now kinda accurate, haha.
Now I really do feel like a real pirate~! 🏴☠️🦜
