Belle:
Killian has conflicting thoughts on Belle. On the one hand, he considers her nothing more than a pretty face but useless since she doesn’t have any information to help him exact his revenge. On the other hand, he admires her bravery and her staunch determination to make sure no harm comes to her love. That sort of devotion is not something that he is used to seeing, and it vaguely reminds him of Milah, but he would not compare the two other than that. Belle is…intriguing.
Bae:
Killian will never admit to it, but he truly cares for Bae/Peter. Their relationship is not at all what the stories tell. When realizing that Milah’s son had ended up in Neverland without knowing who he was, Killian did everything in his power to make sure that the boy was well taken care of and never went without, often times doing little things without the boy ever knowing—for as much as he was the Crocodile’s son, he was also Milah’s son and the last living reminder of the woman that the pirate had come to love. He never once tried to jar Peter’s memories in fear that he would come to hate him, and he couldn’t bear to see the hatred and disgust in the eyes that were so much like his mother’s. At first, Killian’s actions were those of an obligation to the only person he loved, but slowly he came to care for the boy and started doing them because he wanted.
