As we reach the 20th anniversary of the Iraq I'm reminded of one of the most exasperating aspects of that era: dudes who say stuff like "yeah I used to be super liberal before 9/11 but now I'm really upset about Chappaquiddick and gay marriage."
My reasoning for never fully considering the importance of mosques has generally been as follows: if God is as close to you as your jugular vein, as the Qur'an clearly states (50:16), then why should we bother building tangible homes for God when we could be building them for the homeless? Surely, they are in greater need of homes than God is, and we would serve Him better by building homes for needy humans than by building them for the omniscient, omnipresent, and incorporeal Almighty.

This song represents my feelings about my current president and my fears about what he's going to do to my country.
Rotersand - War on Error
Rotersand
Citizens of the world, in these times the future of mankind is at stake. We must not refrain from responsibility, but boldly take measures necessary to ensure the survival of the fittest. To sustain order and to increase our economic, social, and mental efficiency, we must ascertain that we can rely on your cooperation in providing any requested data in a structured, detailed, and predictable manner. To eliminate any irregularities that may compromise flawless operation, we have declared a war on error. So be warned: random is resistance!
