Unpopular but correct opinion

Thrall is a good character, whos made as good decisions as anyone else in this flawed mortal coil.

Most dislike of him is from people who are Idiots* or transfering their dislike of Metzen or other wow writers onto him. I.E. “Of COURSE he’s the main character in this quest, he’s Metzen’s author avatar” “Ug the wow people dont GET it, its not enough to just shove these awesome female characters into the quest and do nothing with them and act like they are giving the respect they deserve. But instead of calling blizz out on it i’m going to attack this fictional character”

*One of the DUMBEST things i’ve ever heard is people harping on Thrall or Tirion for “kill stealing”? Bitch ass idiot. Did you not go to icecrown/end time with 9 or 24 of your guildies or random strangers? How the frickity frak do you consider “kill stealing”. Is it only kill stealing when non player characters who can actually have a story and character development kill em? Like He’s Fucking deathwing. We didnt kill him, Thrall didnt kill him. We all killed him. Thrall didnt even give the final blow, he just freaking channeled the weapon Deathwing made himself because he was the only one in the magic circle who wasnt a freaking dragon. Jesus freaking christ, remind me to never help you with anything ever because you will say i’m stealing your thunder, its called teamwork you anti-social asshats.

Things stupid people constantly Ignore.

-the fact that Garrosh’s death was PERFECT. That he died the complete miserable evil wreck that he is, but they ignore it because the person responsible for him did it. Willfully ignoring the fact that this was a “Lets settle this between us” fight and not a “lets put this fight on hold, meditate on 2 days and have honorable combat between respected leaders” and that Thrall whos Twice went against this evil bastard in hand to hand when he’s a freaking SHAMAN, lost....Because Garrosh has like 10 levels of Warrior on Thrall. But Thrall decides to use the fact that he’s a good person? and use the elements? which Garrosh has repeatedly defiled!? despite it being blasphemy to his own people? because he defiled Orc culture?!?! and Thrall uses the pure form of the most important part of being an Orc?!?! To kill this person who violated the orc race in almost every single way?!?! How is that not freaking justice?!

-The fact that Thrall is literally the main character of Warcraft. Bitches be mad because the 7th Harry Potter book is about Harry Potter.

-The fact that Thrall Didnt want to leave the Horde...That he wanted Cairne or Vol’jin to take over, but they were cowards and backed out. That he knew Garrosh was cruel but HOPED that leading people would help him gain compassion and fairness, and that either way it -Didnt Matter- Because the world-was going to -explode-if he didnt leave. “Thrall you are responsible for what Garrosh did?” What are you a child? Garrosh is responsible for what garrosh did. Vol’jin is responsible for what garrosh did, Sylvannus is responsible for what he did. Each racial leader had the opportunity to check his power growth but each of them was a fucking coward. But people are to far up sylvannus’s ass because like it or not us fucking nerds cant admit the fact that we are still fucking nerd children and are total whores for “cool edgy characters” who are undead evil sister murdering backstabbing, innocent torturing monsters. Sylvannus EXISTS to remind the Alliance that the Horde are monsters and the horde players worship her for it and then bitch and say that because the Alliance think they are monsters that the Alliance are the bad ones.

Retire the Thrall character and let him focus on teaching and raising his family. but dont fucking sit there and try to convince me that this child who’s parents were murdered for trying to save their people, who was abused as a child till his sister saved him and who used her compassion to guide him to this very freaking day, who never wanted leadership but was willing to take up the mantle, who was willing to show his people he would not put up with their orc supremicist bullshit and publically executed someone who commited terrorist acts against Theramore in order to incite a war, and did so in front of both armies. Someone who is barely an adult but is weary from death, hateful of his friends and allies for betraying each other, and scared of failing everyone.

Do not tell me to look down on that character. In this story of “Warcraft” yes he’s a freaking green alien with tusks, but he represents the young person burdened with pain who never asked for it. And I will NEVER look down on that.

And if you cant respect that you can fuck off.
