I was just reminded of the Fade quest in Dragon Age 2, my team was Isabela, Varric and Fenris. I ended up going to the desire demon first and was betrayed by Isabela. Then, curious as to who might betray me in the other room. 

It was Fenris and, while I wasn’t mad at him, as the battle started I remembered this:

He has the absolute best equipment available.

I am a squishy mage.

Moments into the battle he did his big jump/smash attack with his sword and... killed me in one blow.

Thankfully I saved outside the room and when I respawned I had to take all his stuff because I didn’t stand a chance. I love him too much and screwed myself over.

I have a favour to ask... I need help coming up with a Varric nickname for my lovely inquisitor here and I’m having no luck.
