• Ward did not have a lot of successful relationships in his life. So when he realizes that you are ‘endgame’, he makes sure it stays that way.

• Every person is a possible threat. When someone comes up to you to just have a normal conversation, he already feels intimidated. But he doesn’t show any of those feelings. Because he’s scared that showing these ugly feelings make you break up with him and be with that person you talked to instead. Ward also doesn’t really know how to express these feelings. When it’s just a normal conversation he tries his best to stay calm and ignore these feelings.

• Ward is very passive aggressive towards these situations. However, when someone purposely flirts with you, in front of him, he definitely doesn’t like it and he makes sure that person knows it. He does that by holding his s/o, grabbing them and kissing them. Ward isn’t big on PDA so this is a BIG deal for him. This usually results in the person trying to flirt with you, being uncomfortably and just walking away.

• He also tries to ‘steal’ you back from that person by flirting fiercely with you. In this case he tries to ‘win’ you again. Ward does this by making bad puns, sarcastic comments and cheeky jokes. He doesn’t care much about other people, as long as you are still with him. Normally he isn’t flirty at all, or doesn’t show his feelings like that. But he loves you so that’s why he’s giving everything he’s got.

• When someone sexually assaulted you, chances of Ward fighting them, are increased. He hates when people touch you and you feel uncomfortable. In this scenario, he is very mad at the person who bothered you. He first tries to intimidate the person by standing very close to them. He is a very tall man and he is very proud of his height. Then he pushes them. Ward is very strong so he doesn’t want to hit anybody. He knows that he has got to protect his name. There’s also the fact that you do not like to see him get hurt. So the purpose of intimidating the person is to scare them away and to never try it again. Ward supports the #MeToo movement.

• The cause of Ward’s jealous feelings are because of the fact that he’s scared to death to lose you. You’re his whole life. Not only his lover but also his best friend. The thought of losing you gives him panic. You are his family and he wants it to stay that way.

• When you’re flirting with somebody else it hurts his feelings a lot. Why are they flirting with that person and not me? Don’t they like me anymore? These are questions he asked a lot and it makes him really insecure. He usually doesn’t bring up these subjects when the two of you are alone because he’s scared that you’ll admit you don’t want to be with him anymore. So he just says quiet. These feelings are bottled up and then one day they all come out. In that situation he pushes himself away from you. Doing the hard work, the break up, for you. Then you have to explain to him that is was just something meaningless and that you don’t even remember the person anymore. Flirting with someone else is a very mean thing to do when you’re in a relationship with someone. But in Ward’s eyes, being nice can look like flirting. So you have to explain to him that when you’re nice to someone, it’s not because you’re flirting with them, it’s because you’re just a nice person. Ward’s the one you want.

• When you bump into an ex, run away. Haha, jk. When you bump into an ex and they ask you how you’ve been or some shit like that, Ward can get very jealous. You’ve been with that person. Again, those questions about uncertainty pop up and he starts feeling very insecure again. However, he isn’t afraid to show your ex their new partner. So of course, he likes to give a firm handshake and give them intimidating looks.

• He tells you a lot that if you don’t want to be with him, he understand it. He is very protective of your well-being and happiness and he makes sure you’re the one who ends up happy, even if that means that he won’t.

• After much convincing, he starts to believe you actually love him. He finally realizes that you want to be with him. Ward notices the small things you do for him. They’re barely noticeable but very loving. He feels cared for and he finally feels like in the end, he can actually be happy.

Ward Meachum cooking you breakfast - Imagine

You sat up when a hard, buzzing sound suddenly waked you. “What”, you mumbled confused while rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. “Ward?”, you said while you lightly shaked him awake. “Hmm?”, he sounded. “Oh”, he said when he realized you waked him because of the alarm. He sat up and turned it off. “Sorry, it needs to be loud otherwise it won’t wake me”, he grinned. Then he put his arms around you and dragged you back to a laying position while he kissed your face. “Last night..”, he started, and then a cheeky grin formed on his face. “Amazing”, you stated and smiled at him.

While he kept kissing your face he moved on top of you, then fully kissing your mouth. His hands moved from your hips to your thighs. “Hmm”, you sounded and put your legs around his waist, your hands moving to the back of his head where you played with his hair. You enthusiastically moved your hips up and down. Trying to recreate the things you did with him last night. “Hmm, haha”, he sounded through the kiss. “We have to get to work miss”, he smiled. You remembered what day it was. Monday, unfortunately.

“C’mon, we have to get up”, he said as he stopped kissing you. You made a sad puppy face in an attempt to convince him to stay in bed. “I’ll make you breakfast”, he offered. “Well, I have to admit, last night kind of made me hungry”, you said. “How can it not?”, he teased, winking at you. Then he let go of your hips and got out of bed, his hand holding on to yours, slowly dragging you out of bed. “Alright, alright”, you said as you finally stood up.

With his hand he led you to the kitchen and placed you at the kitchen dinner table. “Do you like eggs and bacon?”, he asked. “I do”, you said. “Good, that’s the only ingredients I have at the moment”. You smiled. It was funny how unorganized he could be, especially for a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. He took a pan and he put it on the the stove. Then he made some coffee. You heard the eggs sizzling in the pan, his left hand moving the pan back and forth when sipping his coffee. You enjoyed the sight of his muscular and exposed back and the fact that Ward was actually making you breakfast. You couldn’t resist standing up to give a few kisses on his back. “Hey”, he said as he turned around and looked to you.

The two of you spend the entire weekend together for the first time. On Friday night you had sex with him for the first time and it was amazing. So you stayed at his place for the weekend and the two of you enjoyed each others company, a lot. Sadly the weekend has come to an end and you both have to return to work. You were hoping you could could see him soon.

“What are you doing tonight?”, he asked like he could read your mind, while flipping the eggs. You smiled. “Hanging out with you I hope?”. He turned around and smiled. “Maybe we can go to your place?”. He put the eggs and bacon on a plate with some toast and put it on the dinner table. “Thank you", you said as you sat down. "But sure, I’ll text you my address”. “Great”, he said while taking a bite. “I didn’t know you could cook”, you teased. Ward laughed. “Don’t know if you can call this actual cooking, but thanks”.

Suddenly his expression changed from happy to intense. “I really enjoyed this weekend and.. I really hope we can do this more often”, he said. You realized that admitting this wasn’t typically Ward and therefore you appreciated it even more. “Definitely”. The moment you said it you saw his face light up. All you wanted is to make Ward happy and you felt this weekend was just the beginning of that.

Waking up with Ward Meachum - Imagine

Good morning honeys! I thought we could use a good start of a new week so here’s a feel good imagine :) This is what it’s like to wake up with Ward. Enjoy <3 - Day 3 of WARDMAS

A whirlwind of coldness surrounded you as soon as you pushed the blanket off. Getting up was extra painful this time of the year because of the weather. You were sure it was going to snow one of these days. You sighed while sitting on the edge of the bed, staring in the distance, thinking of the many things you have to do today. The past two days were very relaxing and you were thankful you had a weekend at the end of every workweek. If it wasn’t for those two days, you would be long gone. The weekend also gave you a chance to see your boyfriend. Thankfully he understood your busy lifestyle. You were sure it was part of the reason you started dating each other. So the two of you just rested and spend some quality time together at Saturday. On Sunday you often took a walk and ate lunch. Because the two of you felt so relaxed while hanging out with each other, it gave you the opportunity to be honest with each other. There is a lot of trust and the both of you felt very safe. It is amazing how much you cared about him and it made you utterly happy.

You sighed again. Time to get up. While rubbing your eyes, you walked to the bathroom and got ready. Then you put some clean working clothes on. Your job is to make drafts for civil architectural projects. That’s how you and Ward met. So you’re working clothes are very different than you’re personal style. You looked at your watch. It was 6.44 A.M. and you had your first meeting of the day at 8, but it was all the way in Brooklyn. So you had to hurry. Quickly you made some coffee and carried two cups back to the bedroom.

When you entered the bedroom Ward was still in a very deep sleep. His body half covered with the blanket. During the night he usually pushes it off because he gets hot. Well, hotter than usual. You were glad he was finally getting some sleep.

The rising sun lay a red glow upon the city. His torso was covered in a red and purple glow. It was like he was one with the sunset, sleeping peacefully.You smiled at the sight of him sleeping in your bed.

You put the two mugs on the night stand and took a seat on the edge of the bed. “Wake up honey”, you whispered as you stroked his hair. “Hmm”, he sounded. “What are you doing? You’re dressed already? It’s early, come back to bed”, he mumbled frowning, squinting his eyes. “It’s not early for me”, you smiled. Then he opened his eyes fully and looked at you, the red light of the sun covering his face and bringing out the green color of his eyes.

Then you began giving small kisses on his knee, to his upper leg, his torso all the way to his neck. You knew kissing him awake was one of the best options to wake him and the least irritating to him. When you reached the sensitive spot on his neck he let out a low grunt. “Please, I don’t want to get up. Let’s just stay in bed all day”, he smiled down at you. “Nope, can’t do. I’ll be back tonight”, you said as you sat up, looking down at him. “Besides, you have to get to work yourself”, you teased. He lifted his hand to you face and put some stranded hairs behind your ear. His thumb stroked your cheekbone while he looked sweetly at you. “I don’t want to”, he dryly responded, a half grin on his face.

“Come on, get up Ward”, you tried again. He threw his arms up in defeat and finally sat up. You handed him the mug and you both enjoyed the sunrise. He put his arm around you and pulled you closer, giving you a very intense but loving look. “What?”, you chuckled. “I know you are going to do great again today”, he smiled. “You are amazing”. His loving words meant so much to you. Especially because he knew that you were struggling sometimes. The fact that he believed in everything you did, warmth your heart and you were extremely thankful that you could start the day like this with Ward. He kissed your forehead as he squeezed you tighter and you enjoyed the beautiful colors the city displayed with him before starting your day.
