Andrew is literally the crusty dog Warren abandoned at a filthy subway, he called him a good boy, said he loved him, told him he'd come back for him and he never did.

One day he was found. After months of trying to help the feral dog he finally has a loving family with Buffy and Spike and Xander and everyone else but he'll always be waiting for Warren to come back even though he knows deep down he never loved him.
