I just binged your Jane Austen x DA fics and I am absolutely feral right now. First I just want to say that I absolutely ADORED every word. I cried so many times while reading and there were times I just wanted to reach through the screen and throttle people, which is how you know if a fic is truly exceptional.

When I read that you might be planning a Veilguard sequel, I knew that I had to come and ask. What are the chances of a Crow!Rook x Lucanis romance to Persuasion?

Either way, I'm very excited to read any further entries in the series and will no doubt continue to enjoy your work immensely.

i am absolutely playing around with some ideas for a Veilguard sequel! perusasion is earmarked for something specific, which will require a little bit of elbow grease on my end, however i AM looking at Emma for a mourn watch rook with emmerich at the moment? details TBD, i have to play through about 80 more times because that is how i do video games haha

6. Do you have your Rook(s) planned out to any degree? If so, would you share some details or ideas you have?

like many of us, i have several rooks planned. the biggest struggle for me will be whether to play a dwarven veil jumper or a human necromancer first. i'm also excited to explore the non-binary options, since it sounds like there's more than one!

13. What's one thing you've seen confirmed so far that you're a fan of?

besides solas and varric and harding and minrathous... i am very excited about a few elements of the character creator! not just the gender stuff, but graphics wise, i've heard you can change your height and your frame. plus, it looks like they have more than one set of normal looking eyebrows. BIG win for thedas haha

14. What's one thing you've seen confirmed so far that you're NOT a fan of?

this is tough one for me! i know she's given it her blessing on twitter and said she's very excited for the game, but i have mixed feelings on veilguard apparently using varric so heavily for nostalgia purposes, as we know that EA laid off his incredibly talented writer, mary kirby

I’m going through all the reblogs for the Dragon Age Veilguard hype thing, cause well, I know I want people to ask me questions. So asking others is probably what they want too.

3. Do you usually play as a warrior, mage, or rogue? Which class are you planning to try first this time around? Which subclass?

for me it might as well be called dragon mage, honestly sdkfjskjf. i am super excited to give the necromancer subclass a try, since it looks likely that will be available. i love the vibe, and i think inquisition left room for improvement

7. Which character from the previous games or other media are you most hoping will make an appearance in DAV?

besides the handful we already know will be back, dorian for sure. and he better bring maeveris this time!

19. Are you planning to replay any of the previous games, watch Dragon Age: Absolution, or read any of the books/comics/short stories, or are there other games you want to play in the meantime?

i plan to TRY. i am reminding myself i'll enjoy it even if i don't get to everything. i'm a little slower at reading and playing things than i used to be, and i know i'll burn out if i don't give myself the room to just engage with it for fun

12. What's one thing you're hoping we DON'T see in this next game?

i am VERY excited for all the elven lore, however, i hope that not every major mystery in the game ties back to the ancient elves and the ancient elves alone. i don't mind if the other ancient factions tie in with elven lore, especially around the time that the veil went up - that makes total sense, it was a big deal. i just mean i hope it's not, like, "the elves caused everything, they were the original dragons, they were the archdemons, they inspired andraste, and dwarves, qunari, humans, and the blight all came from their actions."

16. What's one crack theory you subscribe to (yours or someone else's)?

i'll ignore my giant pepe silvia board about kirkwall and the magisters sidereal, because we don't have time to unpack all THAT... but a pet crack theory i've had for a while is that hawke is related to corypheus. ghil dirthalen actually did a video on it, found here. i provided her with some of the reasons i find it unlikely to be a reveal this late in the series, but hey, what good crack theory is based on solid logic and evidence? 😅
