#c2cfestival had been such an inspiring experience. Hearing songwriters talk about their #amwriting processes and listening to their stories in song was moving... I grew up wanting to be a country songwriter and being in the presence of these people was awe inspiring. Watching my first arena concerts was an experience unto itself- overwhelming, moving and all around fabulous!! Meeting people I have admired from afar was also so surreal, I'm just glad there was photo proof!!! Lol I must admit, the smaller venue of the #indigoo2 was perfect- hearing guitar god, @charlieworsham perform made me know country music isn't leaving us anytime soon and #wardthomas held me captive...their songs/harmonies and patter held me until the end.. I think their albums may just be the soundtrack to #inherited2 as I couldn't stop thinking about scenes and characters as they sang! Such an inspiring duo (and local town gals too!) Being home now is so strange, the music and the magic will live on however, as this week I plan to use this new found drive and inspiration to bring this book to life! Dreams/songs/stories they are all amazing, but a little twang in there and I'm sold!! Ps thanks to @abbyyy_xo and @molliemole2010 for bringing me along for the ride! Here's to next year!!
