I am happy to announce that Warframe!Bee AU has official designs!
Here are the cybertronian designs, this is how they met, before Blitz was turned triple changer.
In addition, here is Bee/Brasshorn's post-mini earth design. Brass' alt mode is based off a monstertruck.
I've also made a very crappy height comparison of the two. Brass has always been taller and after regaining his original frame on earth he's taller than everyone else on Team Prime. Here's a Bulky for comparison.

Thinking about Warframe!Bumblebee while still a minibot.
They're all still fresh on Earth and Sari is showing them all sorts of activities and fun stuff. One time she brings some movies to watch. Some animated or with actors.
It's just Bulkhead, Prowl, Bee and Sari watching. Sari brought Hobbit/Lord of the Rings this time.
It was all fun and games until after watching the movie Sari asked Bee what he thought about it. He didn't answer and one glance to the side at him told them why-
Bee was all still and silent, gaze fixated on the screen even tho there was nothing playing. His expression would be stone cold if it wasn't for his optics that were wide and unfocused, giving his faceplate a terrified tone.
He only reacted when Prowl, who sat next to him, tapped his shoulder to get his attention- the little touch was enough to get him to jump back to the end of the couch.
Bee kept saying he was fine but his reaction was enough to tell the others he wasn't. He went to his room, saying he just needed a moment.
The only one to go after him was Ratchet- the old docbot needed to do something near where the group was watching the movie. He stayed for a bit to watch too, none in the group seemed to notice he was there. He recognised the expression Bee had- the very same expression had those who had seen what war is like, the ones that ended up in his medbay long ago, be it soldiers or just civilians. Some of the scenes in that movie were enough to bring back Ratchet's painful memories of being deployed on the warzone, rushing to help but never getting on time in some of the cases... He himself was a beholder of the same expression when he was trying to recharge peacefully. It was most often the reason why he usually buried himself in work and checking every file possible until he passed out in berth or on the desk...
Knowing that Bee was a victim of reformatting also meant he knew what war truly looked like. Sadness gripped Ratchet's Spark at the thought of what else the poor kid had to go thru at such a young age.
He disappeared from the scene when the others were talking and went to knock on Bee's door. Bee didn't answer so carefully he let himself in. Bee was sitting on his berth, blanket draped over his shoulders and back, his favorite bee plush gripped tightly close to his chest. Ratchet closed the door and said he wanted to check on him.
Bee, again, said he was fine, but Ratchet didn't need the sadness in his voice to know it was a lie. He sat on the berth next to him and comforted him, he pulled the kid into a side-hug and gently rubbed his arm. None of them said anything really, but the presence of someone who understood what it was like was enough to ease the pain.
One of the habits they developed since Ratchet's discovery about Bee's frame is that when Bee has a flashback episode or when he notices Ratchet is behaving off, he'd come to Ratchet and they'd spend some time together, just the two of them- sometimes they'd talk about various stuff to keep the bad thoughts away, sometimes they'd just keep each other company in silence. (in this case it's a movie, but there's other stuff like something exploding or if Bee stares at fire for too long.)
None may show it directly but they both know how close they've grown because of these. Coping with PTSD is difficult but they manage it just fine.

Thinking about Warframe!Bumblebee again.
I feel like Ratchet would know Bee was a victim of reformatting.
Reformatting itself was a dangerous if not morally illegal practice, anyone who went under such procedure was bound to have some sort of issues. Same was with Brasshorn-now-Bumblebee.
When he was put in the repair crew, Ratchet instantly noticed the specific mannerism Bee had- Whenever there was physical work Bee was always the first to be tired, even if it was a minor task, he often clawed as his chassis when he thought no one was looking, just as if he was in pain. The real issues only surfaced when they had to go into a risky zone to repair a stray spacebrige gate. They've ran into some non-friendly creatures and Bee barely managed to get out alive.
He had several injuries, he ended up in medbay and passed out halfway thru a scan. Ratchet had to do an emergency surgery on him and only then realized what has happened to Bee.
Bee's Spark and casing was way too big for his small frame, almost 3 times the size his frame was designed to hold. He had several issues with energy and energon flow and the wiring looked horrendous, not professional at all. Ratchet had seen similar things and quickly connected the dots. He fixed him up to the best of his capabilities and made sure there were no issues with his Spark.
After the surgery when Bee woke up Ratchet asked him about it but Bee didn't say anything other than what his previous frame type was. He was put on leave to recover, Ratchet didn't tell his status to anyone, and if someone asked he masked it as private information of the patient.
Another thing is with Bulkhead- I think he and Bee are close enough for Bee to tell him certain things about his past life.
When Bee and Bulk were in boot camp they became friends, at some point they were talking about their pasts and Bee has leaked few of the aspects of his warframe life. This got Bulk interested but he saw how uncertain Bee was about it so he didn't push. With time he learned more about his friend; that he used to be a warframe, that he was great with engineering, that he had a beautiful house on a planet named Sirras and had a Conjunx he loved dearly.
I think Bulkhead would be the only bot to know that Blitzwing and Bee are Conjunxes. Like, he obviously noticed something was up with Bee the moment the Decepticons showed up. After the first few days of Bee acting like everything was normal he got worried and asked him to speak privately. And surely enough, Bee trusted him enough to tell him that he found his Conjunx. So Bulkhead doesn't target Blitzwing in battles, if he does he makes sure to miss the big 'con with his strikes. Blitzwing was told to do the same, he never directly targets any of the repair crew.
I think at one point Bee makes a little meet up for the 2. They both pick a date and sneak out together to meet. I imagine it'd kind of awkward at first but Blitz and Bulk quickly get used to each other; both of them like art so that's a nice topic for them to chat about. Bulkhead wasn't keen on becoming an Autobot either, it was only an odd requirement for the job. He doesn't have any bad emotions towards Blitzwing. The fact he and Bee were conjuxed way before Bee met Bulkhead was enough to make him trust the Triple Changer, he treated his little buddy right.
so bee, once he got in contact with the all spark, gets his old frame back? YES PLEASE
I wanna know everyone's reactions and his own, to be in your old body again must be very strange! especially since you've been a small guy for a while now!!!
He doesn't get his frame right away, it's one of those instances where the Allspark's energy is unleashed unexpectedly and some shit happens- that's how the Constructicons and Wreck-Gar(i think?) were created.
In that case the energy was unleashed when the Decepticons+Megs were fighting with Autobots for the cluster of Allspark Shards in some smelting factory. There were mountains on scraps to smelt where htey were and at one point, Bee fell into the slope of the crushing machine and the scraps flooded over him. He actually had one of the shards with him and that's what triggered it. The weird glowing happened and scraps started flying to the pile making it bigger. The huge kettle-things that held molted metal broke and the stuff poured in thru the cracks to the pile. Not few kliks after the pile started to move and a giant humanoid scrap monster emerged from it with a terrifying screech. As it crawled out of the mountain the scraps started falling off of it and a freshly-forged, still having that hot glow to it, Warframe stood there. There was supposed to be a storm that day, and it started jsut at the right time; the rain fell down from the sky cooling the heated metal til it was shining with golden glow. The fight has completely stopped in order to pay attention to what is happening.
I actually have songs that inspired this scene-
Bifrost by Ummet Ozcan, it's the 1st half- the fight is happening, Bee has the Allspark Shard, he falls into the slope and get buried. The shining happens and the beat drop from 1:32 is the build-up and him emerging as freshly forged warframe. (See this post for the low-detail design i made)
Ryu by Ummet Ozcan, it's the 2nd half. The beat from the start made me think of him standing on top of the scrap he emerged from, face towards the sky as the rain falls on him and chills his frame. His optics open as the beat that drops at 0:18. He looks at his servos and smiles, then Megatron speaks up-
"Well, that's certainly a pleasant surprise... The Architect himself returning in glory."
To Autobots' surprise they hear Bee's voice, a tiny bit different but still his, coming from the giant that just appeared. "Heh... of course you'd miss me."
Megatron nods to him, a sign of respect, then calls retreat. "Let them have this victory. Today is a great day for us all." He says when Lugnut questions.
The rest of the song can be him forging stuff montage and building his workshop, idk my imagination refuses to cooperate for anything but the start of the song.
Of course, the others are wary of him cuz a) he's a freking giant now. b) Megatron himself was happy for "his return". They go back to base and Bee tells them his story and how unfair he was treated. (he doesn't mention the being conjuxed part)
The others are still a bit wary but it gets replaced with concern the more they hear about what the Elite Guard did to him and his home. Heck, Sentinel was the one to order reformatting on him! If they hated his guts already they now despise him with all their Sparks... aand Bee is freaking out cuz he's his true self now and he's pretty sure Sentinel will just kill him if he found out. Later they speak about his abilities and ask if he can forge them weapons n stuff. He says yes under one condition- he's allowed to leave the Autobot faction. He states upfront he's not gonna join the 'cons and just wants to be neutral to everyone. The team agrees.
As for the reactions; yeah the team is very- well, like they say "fish out of the water". They are awkward and confused, they often forget Bee is not small anymore. They'll hear his voice and turn to look down to speak- and only see his pedes.
Bee has to get used to being big again for sure- if all his furniture was adjusted to him being small, now it has to be adjusted to him being big- a new berth is really what he needs but also bigger gaming controller and now he can get high shelves for his room! He still forgets he's not small anymore and will look up if one of his teammates speaks to him- he's so used to looking up at them to talk it's so weird to get used to looking down to talk to them. It's not that bad, both of them do this all the time, it's kinda funny. Bulkhead makes funny remarks like "Welcome to the big bot struggles" whenever Bee hits his helm on a door frame or his horns catch on some low-hanging stuff and he does this weird pulled-back move.
Bee defo points out Prowl is now the shortest, karma baby. He's been bugged about his height all the time, now it's his turn to point and laugh.
Sari on the other hand, is now adorable. She so smol. He says he thinks she's adorable and she doesn't like it. She's not the type to be called cute, damn it! Bee takes her on rides tho so thery're good.
The most surprising part is when they find out Bee essentially becomes Ratchet when fixing the damage done to his upgrades for Team Prime. Ratchet is just amused- except when he gets damaged and it's up to Bee to fix him cuz they don't have the key anymore. Oh how the tables have turned...
They're also flabbergasted when Bee picks up some heavy container Bulkhead has trouble carrying on his own with little issue. It's just unreal to them- a little minibot who's physical strength only topped Prowl is suddenly a giant monster truck whose raw power nearly matches Megatron himself.
Bee is also happy to be able to tackle-hug Blitz again. He's the strongest one again. As much as Bee loved being wrapped in his Conjunx's big arms he loves to just hold all of Blitz in his own. (Bee is taller than Blitz btw.)
I imagine Bee has his own quarters in the new workshop along with Blitz but he still keeps the room at the plant, it's his home after all. They visit often.
I almost forgot! When Blitzwing sees his love trapped under scrap he's literally about to ditch everything to save him but then the weird stuff happens and he feels this tingling sensation thru his bond and witnesses Brasshorn 2.0 emerging from the scrap. He just stands there shocked and mesmerized until Megatron calls retreat.
Megs knows now that The Architect is back Blitz will go running to his Conjunx so the moment Blitz says he's going on patrol Megs knows he's gonna go see Bee so he tells Blitz to say hi on his behalf.
When Blitz arrives at the meeting location he doesn't suspect being surprise tackle-hugged the moment he lands. They talk and Bee finally has the chance to scoop Blitz up in his arms bridal-style, like in the old days. They're happy.
Once Bee has his workshop Blitz visits surprisingly often, but it's only when Ratchet is called to Bee's workshop to come alone and finds Bee worrying over Blitz who's been injured in battle earlier that day it's known they are together. Bee practically yells at Ratchet to patch him up and of course, Ratchet is a medic and would do it anyway but he does demand an explanation- he is surprised to hear that Bee's been Conjuxes with Blitz for centuries but understands why Bee didn't tell them. He does however tell him to tell the others soon instead of waiting for an issue to occur when they find out on their own.
So the next day when his team and Sari are at his workshop and find Blitz recovering from the battle Bee tells them about the aspect of his past he didn't tell them yet- that he was actually Conjuxed to someone back then.
"Really? To who?" Optimus threw the question, both curious and unsure of the answer.
Bee came up to Blitzwing, who's been sitting on the unoccupied workbench, and takes his servo in his. "To him." He said with a hopefull smile, which only grows as Blitzwing leans to his side and squeezes his servo back.
The silence and questions Bee was answering that followed were broken by Sari who's only now processed what Bee said- "YOU'RE MARRIED??" "Yep!"and the couple laughed.
So this is resolved and Team Prime is not targeting Blitzwing in combat- that also applies to Blitzwing. He's helping the 'cons of course but as soon the fight starts he just leaves. He can't help them fight nor can do anything cuz the Autobots guard whatever they were trying to get. He does however steal some metarials when they are doing resource-gathering missions- half of them still goes to Bee tho. Megs is not amused by it.
The Elite Guard finds out only when Megatron demands that Earth will be made into a Neutral Zone. Oddly enough the repair crew also forces them to do their job and get the Allspark and leave them there. So yeh, Sentinel is kinda pissed but can't do anything cuz Optimus and his crew are backing Bee up(he's kinda intimidated by them in secret cuz they did kick Megatron's aft mulitple times for a simple repair crew) and Megatron himself is supporting everything behing that. So they are kinda forced to comply and leave Earth alone, but not without Jazz making himself to be the link in the neutral zone and gets them access to the fine weaponry Bee makes- in reality he also wanted to just chill out on Earth he grew to like and this was the perfect opportunity to do so. He gets to keep his job and hang out with his friends and sibbling-figure(Prowl) all day long. I imagine Jettwins follow soon after to "help the colony out on Autobots' behalf", also they can't stand Sentinel's attitude without Jazz around so yeh.
I think that's about it? I might have forgotten few things but eh, it's long as is.

I was wondering what your take would be on WF!Bee? Like before everything happens and he’s sent to boot camp. I kind of imagined a more street smart version of him that’s rough around the edges but still has a sense of humor, even if it’s a bit darker. He basically built himself from nothing on his colony and had to learn quickly before it had a chance to suffocate him. Through his experience he’s been humbled a bit, but when he’s talking about his speed and skills, he’ll still brag and say he’s the fastest mech/greatest weapons engineer to ever be sparked.
As for his whole relationship with Blitz, I liked to imagine them being physically affectionate with each other. They practically have a long distance relationship due to Blitzwings work, and when they finally get to see each other again, they stick to together like superglue, whether it be lightly caressing the others (door)wing or clinging to each other like koalas (with Bee being Blitzwings size, they have a much easier time cuddling). And of course there’s Bee’s gift giving love language; Blitzwing is practically armed to the derma with finest quality weaponry the galaxy can offer, courtesy of his sweet mechfriend who want to make sure he can beat the autobots good and swiftly. That’s not mentioning every upgrade Bee has preformed on every piece of equipment he could get his servos on, he’s practically given Blitz’s ship a full makeover by now.

I thought about how'd he look like as a warframe and i got an idea-
Like what if he magically got his original frame back but with some tweaks to fit earth? They fight over Allspark Shard, he got buried in a mountian of scrap, then some weird glowing shit happens and molten metal pours over and a freshly forged Warframe emerges from the pile. In this he has a monster truck alt mode; I was imagining sorta viking warrior vibe to it, he's got in-build swords that can electrocute ya, his tires are on the back rather than on the shoulders, no doorwings. Also some bronze detailing on top of shiny yellow. Here's a quick sketch of the general look cuz i suck at drawing detailed art from my head-
Yes he got yellow optics cuz they are cool and he's not autobot so no blue. Also i thought he'd have like, an emblem of something like a hammer on his chassis instead of the faction insignia, like a mark that he leaved on everything he forges to sell so everyone knows it was him that made it. Also fun fact- he has retractable claws, except they're thinner and also work as welding tool. An easy way to work with tiny details and parts.
I like the idea that he was considered the greatest engineer/smith/forgemaster that ever existed, therefore Megatron has high respect for the guy. He was nicknamed 'The Architect' and the rumour of the rising legend spread before mysteriously disappearing [aka Bee getting taken and reformatted].
Before he got reformatted tho... hmmm. Yeah his love language would defo be giving gifts, be it weapons or just small sentimental things like jewelry or statuettes made of metal. He is kinda good with engraving, not on the same level as Blitz but it's still nice. Surely he was great at giving bear hugs, really keen on physical contact. My bet is that he was stronger than Blitzwing and could easily pick him up and carry around- having to carry all the heavy materials for the forge n all. I think Blitz was just a seeker back then and then got upgraded to triple-changer. And then they got conjuxed- ah you probably read the other reply so i won't repeat.
And way earlier- he was kind but also rough, he was kinda like Ratchet when repairing his upgrades on others- complaining and judging them for whatever they did that broke the thing. He was playful and didn't really take into account if the fella he spoke with was a high placed individual or just a random street bot, he treated all his customers equally. I like to think he got taken off the streets by a smith that taught him all he knows and then Bee took over the workshop once he was old enough. Then one day an out-of-ordinary mech came into his workshop and tadah, we got a love story.
Even tho he was a Warframe he didn't like to fight, he preferred to spend time in his workshop tinkering away to his Spark's desire. Once he got on the autobot team and on earth, he surely did some small things for the group to help them recover- new med tools for Ratchet, maybe some shurikens for Prowl, little upgrades to make their weapons or stuff more durable and so on. Besides Bulkhead, he never shared anything from his past to anyone, all his team knows is that he's outstanding with tinkering. He doesn't like to dwell on what he lost because of some autobots that forced him into this new life.

The great Forgemaster handling half-molten metal with his bare servos, forge's fire reflecting on his golden plating and his optics burning with passion for the craft. He's swooning all over the place.
Bee is also in love cuz he thinks anything small is adorable, and oh my primus this tiny seeker is like a puppy it's so cute.
Bee would make the coolest looking upgrades n stuff for the little bot. He learns some engraving techniques from Blitz and the little seeker helps with tempering metal with his ice powers.
So cute.
