When I had access to this item via completing a full school of the Tenno, I suspected that the blue colour of the Orokin is not a permanent genetical modification but this. In the new demo, Albretch's partial blue arm makes me reinforce this suspicion.
But as we see his arm, we also can see two details: his hand is bluer than in any other demo, and the blue has reached his neck as well as his thigh. His colour may not be fading... he may be recovering the Blue.
If we are assuming a typical "vaccine-like" shot is put in the "usual part" of the arm, and from there the blue colour spread to the rest of the body... His blue colour is not "a fading out" but a "returning" of that colour. That would explain why he has now a much bluer hand compared to Whispers of the Walls, and why he has now half neck blue as well as his right thigh.
So... he is not only under a process of hybridisation with sentient parts, but also recovering the blue colour of the Orokin?
