I have collected data from 400 relics
Here's the backstory:
I've opened around 40 radiant relics in a row and haven't gotten a single rare item. After I swapped to flawless, it took me only 3-4 attempts to get one. This was a streak of the worst luck I've ever had in this game.
This isn't the first time something like this has happened to me. Throughout the whole year of me playing Warframe, relics I have spent only 50 void traces on have given me more golden items than most 100 traces ones ever would. I began to believe there was some kind of curse cast upon me.
I had to do something. I had to make a point for myself. Surely the results will prove me otherwise. Right?
I present to you a document containing results of opening 400 relics of all types.
Notes:
This document has information on every single relic I have opened for 2 weeks straight. Specifically, the era, the refinement, the rarity of the reward and the kind of reward.
It excludes requiem relics since those work differently and are more difficult to get.
It's not a lot when you look at a bigger picture, but it was enough to make some interesting observations.
(i'm just one person, give me some slack)
1. While flawless and radiant have given me similar results (both standing at 8%), flawless relics have still performed better than radiant (actual probability of both being 6% and 10%)
2. The best options when going for each type of reward turned out to be:
Intact for Common/Bronze (82/100)
Radiant for Uncommon/Silver (43/100)
Flawless for Rare/Gold (8/100)
3. The highest amount of rare items I've gotten were from Meso relics (9), the lowest - from Axi (4)
4. There's 2-3 times more weapon parts and blueprints in all relics than there is warframe ones
5. Forma appeared slightly more often than warframe blueprints
6. Everyone who has voted "flawless and radiant" on this poll has a point
