Sorry DE, you cant keep me in bounds
But i mean... holy shit. its beautiful. this has to be one of, if not my #1 favourite updates for environmental design.
i love the bichromatic lights and the ruins, even if in gameplay, it makes things difficult.
skyboxes on this one are interesting. a lot of rooms have their own skybox. most of the rooms dont have skyboxes or just have lights. but the ones that exist all seem to be right next to the rooms that use them, which is convenient for me.
Suda's skybox. i believe this is the regular void skybox. maybe darker.
Teshin's skybox.
New loka's room might be my favourite. the greenery fighting off the ink just does it for me. Same with simaris's room, though i wonder who left their big ass footprints on the floor.
Simaris's room appears to use life support capsules in the walls.
The reflection imageon the ink is interesting, i wonder where its from. i dont recognize it from soulframe.
Murmur skybox #2 because i found a second version
This one behaves pretty different when i leave bounds. theres this segment of wall that acts in ways i cant fully describe, so just look at the photos below.
i also found a red thing. reminds me of the red minecraft wood type.
anyways, i found the skybox here. i had to lower my exposure in here. this one is interestingly only a semicircle.
A fun trick i found is that these pngs are translucent on the backside, so i can tell which side youre supposed to view them from if theyre near the centre like this.
the skybox seems to have its own box around it.
Albrecht's labs skybox
another skybox exploration cuz why not.
looks like this skybox is mirrored in all 4 direction. cool. the ceiling is whats interesting to me. the swirling storm looks awesome. below seems to be similar. very cool! the lightning is awesome. real shame this skybox isnt visible more often.
ive also discovered that the stairs do just keep going under the floor lmao
anyways, short one because there isnt too much to say here. sadly i couldnt locate the skybox itself.
The Isleweaver skybox
This is one of my favourites. its also exceedingly easy to get out of bounds and to find the actual skybox, as is the case with most duviri setups. you could probably do it in an actual mission with a titania.
strangely, the moment i entered with my warframe i couldnt leave. it seems theres an invisible sphere around the skybox. i managed to break out using a few tricks but do be aware if you go looking for it yourself. it also effects the camera, so park your warframe outside.
theres a broken texture here. only visible from one side.
I didnt expect the xariman to be a 3d model! i always thought it was just a flat texture since its so far away and completely static.
i had to turn the exposure way down. this skybox is wonderful. its so cool seeing how they layered these images to form the whole thing. massive props to the person/team that worked on this. its so detailed too.
strangely, the big structure in the distance you can see here doesnt seem to be in the skybox.
Fort tennadis skybox
This one, along with most of the peridia rebellion skyboxes, has a filter on it that can be disabled by going into captura camera and turning the filter to neutral. the egg is also translucent from the back.
