okay so- now that more episodes of HotD are out, I need to know if you have anything else you've planned for Rhaegor and Korinna??

first of all, i wanna sincerely thank you for your interest in this pairing!! i know you haven’t seen the show, but it means a lot to me how invested you are regardless! i really appreciate it so thank you <3!

and yes, now that we’re almost at the end of the start and the start of the dance of dragons, i do have majority of s1 planned! going off from your previous ask, we’re gonna tackle the elephant in the room: the ten year time jump.

my previous idea was that they were going to be separated that entire time and we’re not going to have any children until they reunited afterwards. the biggest problem i kept facing was how and why korinna returned. every idea was met with plot holes, and there was just too many gaps to fill during that time. also, i wanted their children to be a main part of the dance as well. many conflicted ideas floating my head so i decided to scrap my original plan and focused on another entirely. 

instead of ten years, i settled on only one year. after the green wedding ( episode 5 ) and their relationship was outed by the other houses, korinna leaves king’s landing to avoid any more embarrassment to herself and rhaegor. she leaves without his knowledge so they don’t necessarily depart on good terms :/ but moving on. shortly after she left, korinna discovers she’s pregnant with rhaegor’s child. a secret she slowly prepares to hold for the rest of her days. as much as she would’ve loved to send a raven of the news or to run back and tell him in person, korinna knows it would only bring on further shame to the both of them. so she made the hard choice to withhold that information and raise their son on her own accord. 

after a year of being a single mother, their son, daerion, grows very ill and needs proper treatment or else he will die. and the only person who she knew would help her without question was rhaenyra. korinna was the older sister rhaenyra never had. they share a very close bond so, of course, rhaenyra would help her. korinna travels back to king’s landing and begs one of her fellow servants to deliver a message to the future queen discretely for her aid. after that, im still going over ideas on the specifics of the wargaryen reunion. it’s complicated, but i do know it doesn’t take super long for them to get back together! 

so in those nine-ish years, they get married, thus making daerion legitimized and no longer a bastard, and they have three other children: baleryn, aena, and elaera!

there’s wayyyyy more, but i need to fully solidify those ideas in my head before i talk about them. and i didnt want this ask to be too long aahahaah!! but thank u again!
