Just found your warhead AU and im loving scrolling through your blog looking for more- Its scratching a tpom itch i didnt even know i had, wish id found it sooner! ;u;

Im curious abt it, would there any space for some hurt/comfort later down the road? After private and the warheads re-find each other, would they get time to try and reconnect? (I cant imagine the NorthWind would just be chill with Private+Warheads ://) Would they even want to for that matter, with all that's happened

Also, what was Privates life with NW like?

There is going to be a lot of hurt & comfort in this story, as Private tries to teach his brothers how to love again, and them healing from past traumas they still cling to. The North Wind isn’t happy that Private chose to live with their enemy, but Private isn’t going back to live with them.

Growing up, Private was often ignored and overlooked, with Agent Frost still having the mindset “penguins are only cute/cuddly creatures”. He didn’t really have a parental figure to show him love. That’s why when he heard that he possibly had living family, he didn’t hesitate to try and find them!

What’s the reunion like between private ant the rest of the crew like in the warhead au?

Not the greatest actually. Private was raised by the North Wind, and left in one of their planes to go find his family. He was always drawn to the warheads, but never knew why. He was captured by them, and since he was in a North Wind plane, they thought he was a spy/agent and locked him up for questioning.

Is there any lore behind Skipper's scars? Especially the one on this eye?

Most of the scars Skipper has gotten are from fighting the North Wind. However, the one on his eye was from trying to protect his brothers from animal control. Sadly, he was not able to protect them. Kowalki got his back burned, and Rico and Private were taken by animal control. Leaving Skipper with a blind eye, a feather of Privates, and overwhelming sadness and guilt.

I have noticed in both warhead redemption designs, Rico seems to be in bandages does thus mean that both of those areas on his body after getting those cuffs and collar removed is sort of painful for him??

Yes! Definitely! It’s a little morbid, but the bulky, iron restraints on his flippers were screwed into his arms, so taking them off would be immensely painful for him. However, once Dr K was able to figure out how to get his restraints off and his arms healed. Rico now has arm braces to support the injury. He does still have bad chronic pain in his arms, but he is getting physical therapy to help regain mobility.

His throat does not hurt though, but he still has trouble speaking. So Dr K made him a new communication collar!

Do the penguins in the warhead au have any love interests? like rico and his dolly or kowalski and eva

Rico does have Miss Dolly, but she’s not his lover. She’s a comfort toy he has to help him sleep at night. When Private was taken from his brothers, Rico was also taken by an animal control facility for violent behavior. This facility conducted illegal and abusive “therapy” on Rico to tame his behavior. It broken his mind, and Miss Dolly was the only comfort he had. Dr K had a lover who was also a North Wind agent, but the North Wind used this lover to get to the penguins, giving K a terrible back injury. Since then, he saw his love and emotions as flaws, and “fixed” himself through technology modifications.
