Mari didn't often understand what wasgoing on when it came to her dad, avoiding him when he seemed to bein a mood and keeping close to Kate seemed to work best, though there were a few things that she picked up on in his facial expressionsthat didn't make things too much of a surprise sometimes. However,she didn't expect him to lean over the back of the couch that she wassitting on, playing quietly with a stuffed animal, and start tickling her side.
Her reaction was quick, legs kickingout and she thrashed around on the couch to get away from hisarms, her surprised squeal morphing into laughter.
