Moreth was born in the barren purple hills of Netherstorm which he remembers more of than his keepers suspect.  His parent flew at a Goblin doing research and didn't survive the explosion when it knocked over the contraption she was using.  Moreth remembers a flash of light then waking in a cage in a laboratory. The frantic Goblin fed him healing and mana potions, which soothed his aches and filled his belly.  She talked to him and fussed, and soon enough the cage was done away with altogether.

He heard her argue with an echo-y voice that would soon become very familiar as well and remembered the curious be-goggled Ethereal leaning over him for the first time. He remembers the crashing sound of the lab door being knocked down.  Strobing red and purple lights and darkness, fire and explosions.  The Goblin scooped him into a soft thin bag in the chaos, eyes wild and panicked.  

That was the last Mo saw of Netherstorm.
