Garam Masala - A warm spice commonly associated with Indian cuisine. This is a spice you might not be completly familiar with, if not at all. In this article, I’m going to give you a brief overview of what this spice is, what’s in it, and some recipes that you should try with it!
First Off, What is it?
Garam masala is a blend of spices. Essentially what this means is, garam masala isn’t considered a spice, instead it’s considered a sesasoning. The word “seasoning” refers to a blend of spices - google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&es_th=1&ie=UTF-8#q=define+seasoning.
Then What Spices Are in it?
What I’ve learned about seasonings is, their isn’t an exact blend for specific ones. Although, I matched up 3 articles, or recipes. Below are the common spices I found.

With my findings, there was variations of spices, such as white pepper and black pepper, and green and red cardamom, not just cardamom. Although, the spices I listed matched up with all three sources.
