I'm a level of petty that when, in the second session of our D&D campaign, another PC did something really rude to mine I was so pissed I went back and (with the DM's blessing) retroactively wrote a life-altering event into my backstory which gave me plausible cause for a burning hatred and deep-seated mistrust toward the other PC's entire class. And nobody but the DM and I know it yet. It's been 10 months and I'm still planning for when the hammer falls.
