watching the Sisters Brothers again...

Squealing and crying “Kawaii!!!” every time the camera shows Riz Ahmed’s unbearably cute face and basically everytime Riz talks! Even his voice is full of innocence and preciousness! ♥w♥

Spoilers below

Crying at the scene Hermann cries and makes Morris cries in the process. Can’t blame him, Hermann is just such a pure and precious angel! And that angel is about to be tortured and thinks the man he loves has betrayed him! TAT

Hermann is an angel, a princess, a precious gemstone! No, a pure gold nugget! His skin is actually glowing and his Bambi eyes always glittering! HE was what the gold prospectors were after from the beginning!! XD 

Btw, bodhisattvas (sort of angels in buddhist culture) are often represented with gilded or golden skin. Hermann has all of a bodhisattva, including the physical appearance! ♥

NO ONE will convince me Morris wasn’t going to say “I love you” when, after Hermann told him the Sisters Brothers would likely torture him, he starts muttering on the verge of tears “Hermann, I...” but doesn’t finish and is cut by Hermann again. Why didn’t you finish your confession, you coward??

The part where Hermann, Morris, Charlie and Eli live together could EASILY be remade (or enhanced?) as a poly gay romance. I mean openly (although it’s obvious to many people). 

Cause beside the interaction between the four of them, there is that one dialog with Charlie asking Eli if he gets along with Hermann and Eli asking Charlie if he gets along with Morris.

Like “Have you a crush on Warm, brother?” 

“Surely as much as you love Morris, brother.” X)

Yeah, there too, no one will convince me Charlie is not all tsundere for John Morris or Eli hasn’t fallen in love at first sight (and what a sight! ♥) with Hermann.

I have to find a nickname for them.

The Sisters Brothers is the most tender western I've ever seen and it single handedly murdered toxic masculinity in 121 minutes. Jake Gyllenhaal's character John Morris falls deeply in love with Riz Ahmed's character Hermann Kermit Warm and no one can tell me otherwise.
