It’s been a year and I still remember the exact moment when @taylorswift told the Mercedes-Benz crowd that it was her last night in Atlanta, and when it’s your last night doing something, “I think you should go full out,”. I remember how I told myself to let go of all my anxiety and just enjoy the concert, because it was pretty much a miracle that I was even there. I had been texting one of my closest friends before the show and she told me to push my worries aside and enjoy it. It was hard, but I knew the second Taylor said those words that I could do it. I could dance, and cry, and sing, and scream as if I never had an anxiety disorder, as if I never had panic attacks, as if I wasn’t scared of the world. Because when you’re at a Taylor Swift concert, it’s just you and Taylor. And that gave me such a wonderful sense of freedom that I hope is acutely conveyed in this short video.
