my muse as in me , wasn’t sure if it was confusing or not .

His life has always been a dangerous one. Especially ever since the Clone Wars started. After that, it had been a string of battles and hoping he survived, while accepting that it wasn’t a certainty. 

That still didn’t make the inevitable injuries enjoyable. 

“I’m okay.” He says with a (slightly strained) smile, though he does hold still to let her work. No need to complicate things. (No need, either, to cause her any offense. He was glad for the rest, much as his drive told him to get up again as soon as possible. Get your energy back now, use it later.) 

“Once you’ve got this wrapped,” he nods to his leg, “can I ask you to check on my men? It would be much easier for me to rest if I knew they were alright.”

       ‘  and  this  shall  be  your  quarters,  ’  the  queen  signs  before  she  works  to  unlock  the  door  as  quietly  as  possible.  ancient  wooden  door  creaks  open  towards  a  dark  room,  illuminated  to  reveal  a  rather  large  and  LAVISH  suite  with  a  simple  flick  of  a  switch.  to  others  it  may  appear  silly  an  unnecessary  to  provide  such  accommodations  when  such  a  guest  did  not  require  a  bed  to  rest,  food  for  nourishment,  and  a  lavatory  of  all  things.  but  arsinoé  had  gifted  these  to  meda  in  case  she  would  prefer  some  quite  and  privacy  from  the  chaotic  life  she  would  no  doubt  be  thrusted  into  with  such  an  employer;  and  of  course,  to  provide  the  illusion  that  she  was  just like  any  other  handmaiden  that  needed  a  place  to  sleep  in  at  the  end  of  the  day.

                  FENNEC   DIDN’T   GLANCE   AT   THE   VOICE   that   spoke.   She   sat   silent   for   a   moment,   deciding   if   she   wanted   to   indulge   in   the   words,   or   simply   leave.   Though   she   opted   for   the   second   option,   the   words   that   left   the   mouth   of   the   stranger   sparked   a   light   within   her.   It   was   hidden   away   in   the   darkness,   lurking.   Fennec   didn’t   like   that   feeling,   and   could   care   less   about   most   in   the   galaxy.   Everyone   was   a   liability,   everyone   had   true   dark   motives   depending   on   which   side   they   were   on.

            “   I   WOULDN’T   SAY   IT’S   THE   BAD   side   of   life,   ”   she   started,   eyes   kept   away   from   the   other,   looking   at   a   voice   of   nothing,   “   It’s   the   truth   of   the   galaxy.   It’s   dirty.   You   are   one   of   the   few   that   see   it   for   what   he   truly   is.   Good   for   you.   ”   she   spoke   of   assassins   and   bounty   hunters.   They   saw   the   galaxy   as   indifferent,   as   a   hell   hole.   No   matter   if   it   was   The   Empire   or   The   Republic,   they   would   see   what   it   truly   was.
