I love watching threads roll through the tension box, especially with this warm winter light flooding into my studio.
Pulling it through the heddles....almost done warping.
A new canvas. 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34... The light (natural colored threads) move into the darkness rhythmically enumerated by the Fibonacci sequence whose numbers represent the growth and progression found and replicated throughout all nature. Each number of the Fibonacci sequences is realized by adding the two previous numbers of the sequence together; the new is begot from the existing: it is the geometry of life. I have integrated these numbers throughout the years in my creations and now am entwining them into the canvas of my work.

Final photos of loom warping. Woot!
Warping. Warping. Preparing the canvas.
Let the tedium begin. Warping my big loom. 🐢
