I'm reading DOTC and just finished book one. I gotta say taking storms sole surviving kit back to the cat she specifically ran away from and didn't want her kits anywhere near is *dirty* It disrespected her wishes, grey should have kept the kit and lied about where he found him. sky shouldn't have known imo ( edit: oh he didn't even take his son lol. it says a LOT about clearsky's character that he thinks bad things happen to him because of bad luck, and not, you know, his own actions consequences. He drove storm away )
someone please peer pressure me into finishing dotc. i got the first book nearly a month ago and i have the full series and i'm on chapter 27 (??) of thunder rising. for context, i finished oots in like a week. i'm just really struggling to get into it for some reason?? i need to hurry up though because i don't need more spoilers than i already have LMAO also i wanna catch up with all the main series books before next march because i wanna get up to date before the erins slime jayfeather in false dawn (aka inevitable because he's on the cover).

Fun fact her birth scene in Moth Flight's Vision was one of the key influences on my decision to never have children.
