couldn't resist to sketch out redesigns for My fab fairies. and God damn the 2019 refs- I did improve.
I kept their original concept,aka them being Mavkas. With the outfits I made a mix of the traditional clothing and perhaps a mix of flowers and leafes.
Now, for their lore part, they are not exactly fairies. Just like in the Slavic Folklore, (to which i decided to stick,since God damn they appear in so many fairy-tales, and I always loved Mavkas.) these 3 are girls who died an unnatural death and/or a child who died before birth.
The eldest Fab Fairy, Agrippina drowned when she was younger, similar like the middle one, Warwara,who instead of accident drowning, got killed by her stepsister.
The youngest one, Marfa was an unborn child when she died.
They are not related, but do see each other as sisters. Both Agrippina and Warwara met each other in the Realm of the Fey, In the Lotus lake. Marfa was found by Warwara much later, In a lotus flower. They took the back then small child and have been known as the sisters since then.
While Agrippina and Warwara are to some extend vengeful, and Agrippina would drown people, they would never hurt anyone from the Realm of the Fey. They became their guardians and do live in their small village (despite preferring to live in the lake).
Agrippina is somewhat like an overprotective big sister who absolutely will rip anyone apart if her sisters get hurt. She isn't great with words nor showing what or how she feels.
Warwara is a shy and nice gal, despite her vengeful thoughts.(you know that moment when you think too much and remeber things? yea, happens to her like that) She easily looses her cool and may hide behind Agrippina. However she has a good hand with magic.
And Marfa is an energetic ball. You could throw her and she would bounce back. She gets herself in trouble almost every time,due to her curiosity and If there are adventures, sign her up. (You won't even need any confirmations, she will just come along)
