👀 📺 BEYOND HGTV: 📺 🏠 What you need to know as a real life house hunter: The Hollywood side of house hunting doesn’t offer much as far as what actually happens behind the scenes in real life. Unlike what you see on HGTV, as a home buyer you’ll have a team of professionals working for you to help you through the entire process. For example, did you know you can choose who represents you in your home buying purchase (your Real Estate Agent), who you work with to obtain financing (your lender), and who you choose to inspect your home (your Home inspector). I also want you to know that it’s important that you do your research and hire people that you trust. You’re going to be talking with your Real Estate Agent a lot (probably almost daily) so it’s important that you find someone you click with and who you also trust to guide you through the process! When it comes to choosing a lender, you’ll want to choose someone local who you can meet with in person! You can ask your Real Estate Agent for lender recommendations as they’ve likely worked with quite a few and can help you choose someone who is the right fit!
