Just in time for Veteran's Day, I found a WIP updated artwork of Warwing that I felt like uploading. I had a bit of a hard time posing her when I initially drew her at the start of this term, but I ultimately decided on an angle like a fighter jet taking off. It also helps give an idea of what her wings look like when open. On an additional side note, in hindsight I'm honestly glad I made WW female - not only does it help balance the gender roles of the main group, but it also provides a new character dynamic and nicely subverts the usual "Eagleland = manly" tradition (though she'll still be a hotshot tomboy as compensation).

Since most of my main kaiju have a mythological influence, I didn't want the 'Murica bird to be left out, so I went with a Native American Thunderbird aesthetic, including some haida-style decor on her armor and plumage. I also plan for her to have lightning powers to match, mostly as flyby attack enhancement (i.e. taser beak/claws). She'll at least have some electrical eye bolts to snipe from a distance, though!
