Thinking about old cosplays vs new ones...I don’t believe there will be any cons I hoped to go to this year, so I’m planning private shoots in empty places. It feels lonely, I’m going to plan trips & shoots w friends when this passes! Just something to look forward to! This Throwback Thursday is honestly a little embarrasing, but hey, we all have to make costumes we aren't super proud of to learn new things! This costume was such a challenge for me, years ago when I made it we had none of the amazing thermoplastics, foams, and material options available now! So I made do with what I had: lots of cardboards, plastics, and yes....those are plastic eyes I made from Mountain Dew bottles 😆 I love Washu, I DID love my wig a lot (dyed and cut myself, made from 2 wigs), and I have another adult Washu costume I still hope to make, at some point (when/if I ever have time!).
