My husband and I took in a puppy from the streets and one of the first things my husband said was “we can’t name her” cuz we weren’t gonna keep her.

So the first thing I did was name her Voldemae, She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.

We took care of her a few days then my husband took her to the adoption place and they gave us a ID so we can keep tabs on her and make sure she gets adopted.

I look it up and they named her Flower

Me: da fuck?! How uninventive!

Husband: calm down

Me: what, did the chick look out the window going uh uh... spot a flower and be like yeah!

Husband: well at least they didn’t name her Lyndsey (an ongoing joke with us)

Me: Cheh she had a 50/50 chance to be named friggin Grass
