I think the most challenging part of writing Julia Chae in fanfiction is resisting the urge to have her act upon her initial reaction in a given situation, or express her thoughts or emotions too outwardly. Julia is the type of person who bottles her emotions up, and never lets them show until she eventually reaches a breaking point.
To her, she perceives herself as being “just numb” and unfeeling, but the truth is that she experiences emotion just as deeply as Lala and Lily do, but by contrast, she prefers not to share how she feels with others, whether it's positive or negative.
As a result of this, Julia rarely behaves rashly or voices her thoughts out loud, even when its clear she has strong opinions about something (i.e. during the double date with Lala).
everyone shut up, it's the girlies
even MORE stupid weak hero headcanons: WOMEN!!!!!
featuring mostly lily and Julia, with some Lala, and Eugene's aunt and the pool hall lady!
Lily is a member of her school's art club! How do you think she draws Gray so well?
Julia is a tsundere.
Lily is deceptively strong in a way that reflects her emotional and mental strength, also she could totally solo the entire Union including Donald if she wanted to. But she's too nice.
Julia listens to Paramore, and does emo makeup, to Lala's chagrin.
Eugene's aunt is close with her nephew and enjoys listening to him talk about his friends. She reminisces about her school days.
Julia has a motorcycle and is a really good rider.
Lily wears makeup to hide her freckles, but Julia thinks she's prettier with them exposed.
Lala is toxic af and keeps changing boyfriends so much that she became well known for being unstable. Also bc her personality SUCKS.
Lily and Julia met in middle school while Lily and Lala knew each other since elementary. Lala was always jealous of how Lily and Julia got along better and became closer.
The pool hall lady is fond of ben, Alex, Gerard, gray, Eugene etc bc she finds their antics amusing. She is aware that Ben and Alex find her attractive and sees them as younger brothers due to how much they show up there.
After the dropout gang karaoke incident, Lily and Julia started hanging out more. Lily invited Julia to a sleepover too. (Future fanfic idea???)
Weak Hero would be 100 eps shorter if we gave lily a gun.
Eugene's aunt specialised in treating cats. The weirdest animal she had to treat was an isopod.
Julia is a great singer, she would obliterate everyone in karaoke. She's shy about it though.
i was reading the latest translated chapters of weak hero and i saw somebody saying that they 'weren't interested' in episodes like this because the girls in weak hero only purposes were to be love interests. for some context, lala, lily and julia's backstory is revealed in the latest chapters. but isn't a character's only purpose to be a love interest when that character has no contribution to the story and personality that doesn't revolve around the male characters? if julia, lala and lily already have a backstory about their friendship, and julia contributed to the story during the ganghak arc then that means that they aren't 'just love interests'. Isn't it sexist to think that the only purpose a girl could ever have in a story is to be a love interest? Especially if they have a personality, backstory and character outside the guys lmao.
Weaktober: Prompt 4- Witch
Lilly x Jullia
Let's give this a try.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Being a woman in the 1800's is hard. Being a woman accused of witchcraft in the 1800's is harder. Every part about it was unbearable. She was beaten and humiliated nearly every day. Her lawyers gave up on her. The church had already excommunicated her, saying that if she repented for her sins she'd be forgiven. Society had made up it’s mind. She had committed a crime. And tonight, she must die for her crime.
"You poor soul." Jullia used what little energy she had in her body to lift up her head. She prison was supposed to be empty, except for a few guards. However, the guards were nowhere to be seen, just this odd girl in a dark brown cloak, with glasses that covered her eyes when coupled with the moonlight.
"Hey miss, I some questions, can you move? Talk?"
Jullia brought her head down and focused her energy on talking, but only a small mumble could be heard from her. She tried again to talk with no success
"Sshhh, sorry that was silly of me. Just save your energy for now." The cloaked assailant, took out a small, engraved stick from her pocket. She then mumbled some chant before the lock on the cell was opened. "You didn't commit the crime that girl accused you of, right? What was her name, Lana? Lala? It doesn't matter, you didn't kill anyone using witchcraft did you?"
"Nnm..mo. .." Julia could barely mumbled out her answer, but the other girl knew. There was no way this girl had done witchcraft. The cloaked girl used the stick to unlock the chains holding Julia to the wall.
She then held Julia's face up with her hand. Julia was finally able to look her savior in the face. The girl had light brown hair and emeralds for eyes. There was a melancholic smile on her face. "You are a fighter. You want to survive don't you?
Julia only realized she was crying when the girl wiped her tears. ".y..yee...y-"
"Shhhh! You've done enough. My name is Lily, but for now, rest easy, my dear." Julia closed her eyes, and for the first time she felt at peace.
Lilly covered Julia with a blanket, and carried her out of the cellar and into the town, which was now engulfed in a beautiful fit of flames. The screams of the ignorant townspeople could be heard from every direction. And all of this could have been avoided if Lala, and actual witch, didn't lie and say a townsperson was a witch.
Lily placed the sleeping Julia in the back of her carriage, and had her horses go back to her home. As she was steering, she couldn't help but look back at Julia. Poor girl didn't deserve this. "Don't worry Julia darling, I know Grey and the other members of the coven will take kindly to you. I'll make sure to treat you ten times better than your old village."
"You promise," Lily almost got whiplash as she looked behind her seeing Julia half asleep, the moonlight hitting her at an angle that made Julia glow. Lily smiled a warm smile.
"Yeah, I promise."

Tried to make it a bit angst.
julia is a childish gambino listener and i think that's very hot of her 🗣️‼️
