1. Why is your best friend your best friend?

I have several best friends, so I’ll sum this up quite generally: they’re all exceptional people who I can be myself around! :)

2. What is one of your absolute favorite memories?

I love those moments late at night when I’m talking to Taylor, and he looks at me in that way that makes me feel… fuck, it’s the best feeling in the world. It’s like my heart is racing and my head feels light, and time just seems to slow to a stop and I feel warm from top to bottom. It makes me feel loved.

3. What’s the story behind your favorite song?

My favorite song at the moment is Holding Onto You. So, I’m at the K-Roq Weenie Roast, and I’m standing in the crowd waiting for this band I’ve never heard of before to start playing. And this man gets up there, and one moment he’s wearing a skeleton-hood over his face, and the next he’s got on a ski mask, and there’s just this crazy energy! And the drummer is drumming with his whole fucking body moving, it was one of the greatest things I’ve witnessed.

And so he starts singing, and I’m like… this is really, REALLY good! The beat makes me want to move, the lyrics make sense, you know? They’re not shitty lyrics that have been sung over, and over, and over again. I heard that song, and I was like… twenty one pilots. I’m going to remember that band.

4. Is there anyone you resent from your childhood?

No, I try not to harbor resentment for others. That, and I have a pretty shitty memory, so I really have no idea!

5. Describe your ideal man/woman?

Well I’m currently in a relationship with the perfect guy for me, so I’m just going to describe him. He’s so sweet, he’s always telling me that he loves me and that I’m beautiful, even when he doesn’t have to. He knows he doesn’t have to work to have me, I’m already his, but he stills does it anyways. You know why? It’s because he’s awesome.

On top of that, he can always make me laugh. One time I was tired and emotional, and just generally feeling really crappy, and was about to cry. My eyes started to tear up, so when he asked me why I was so quiet, I told him I felt like I was going to cry. So he immediately grabbed a goofy hat and bandit mask from some random corner of his room, and put it on and grinned at me until I started to laugh. After a bit of giggling, he said in a hopeful voice, “So no crying?"

I love him.

6. What do you believe is the purpose of life?

Honestly, I have no clue, and I know I’ll never find out, so you know what? Why sweat it? My beliefs change from time to time, but they always are fixated around one thing; I believe we were meant to learn from each other. Good and bad experiences make us who we are, they all teach us something.

7. What is the worst thing someone could possibly to you?

I think the worst thing anybody could really accuse me of is saying that I don’t care when I really do. When I get passionate about something, and I mean really, really passionate, I put my whole heart into it. Being told I don’t care is just like having that thrown right back in my face.

8. Do you believe in second chances?

It depends on the situation. Some relationships, if they’re important to you, are definitely worth fighting for. But, say if you’re in a loving relationship and your boyfriend or girlfriend hits you? No. That doesn’t deserve a second chance. Nobody has the right to hurt you, especially if they’re supposed to be one of the people in your life who protects you no matter what. And if you give them a second chance, it’ll just get worse.

9. What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done to someone else?

Oh boy, I really don’t know, that’s a tough one. I find that we never know exactly how much we hurt somebody until they show us. Like, we’re all covered in little prickly needles, but we have no idea who we’ve made bleed until we really see the blood.

10. What would be the best surprise in the world?

Definitely Taylor coming out here and showing up without me knowing about it. I’d die of excitement. I would die. Of excitement.

11. What did you do for your last birthday?

I went to Islands to eat dinner with my parents, grandparents, and sister! :)

12. What is one thing you’re determined to do before your time is up?

I am going to explore as much as I can with Taylor. I will map ghost towns with the soles of my feet. I will tickle the trunks of hundred year old trees with my fingertips. I will dance and sing and find my way across this world with Tay by my side. When people look back on my life, I don’t just want to be a person. I want them to say, “That girl was an adventure."
