Would it be possible to get a happy non romantic wataru/natsume scenario? I just want my boys to be happy :'(
of course!!! it’s a lil sad at first but happy watanatsu is good!! their senpai-kouhai dynamic is goals
Applause erupts like thunder throughout the auditorium. The actors take their bow, relishing in the moment, and the curtains, they flutter in shut.
Immediately, Natsume rises from his seat, and pushes his way through the crowd. They murmur in muted annoyance, but Natsume doesn't notice anything; his very heart, mind and soul has been enraptured by Wataru's performance, and he's dying to communicate his feelings to him.
The bouquet in his arms is heavy, but the second he sees Wataru, it feels as light as a feather.
"Oh, Natsume-kun!" He stops in his move to remove his dangling earrings, and offers his junior a warm smile. "Well, I didn't expect you to have come to the performance today! Not after I blew you off for our outing."
Natsume shifts in his spot, awkwardly reminded by his prior meeting with Wataru. "Hmph, Wataru-niisan is always so scatter-brained, I should have trusted you to forget the very date of your PERFORMANCE. Either way, it is ridiculous to assume that I'd miss one of your performances over a petty REASON."
"You flatter me, dear Natsume-kun," Wataru says, chuckling, "I'm afraid you're far too kind to me. Regardless, those flowers - are they for me, or maybe Hokuto-kun?"
"As IF! Here, for your splendid ACTING."
"Ah, thank you kindly."
Wataru receives the bouquet, and the roses tickle his cheeks as he inhales their aroma. Natsume watches him quietly; Wataru is always so pretty, both on-stage and off-stage. Being able to beside him, and be doted by him: Natsume feels as if he is the luckiest boy in the whole of Japan.
Yet Wataru is ever so busy. Of course, you can't expect a shooting star like Hibiki Wataru to remain idle, yet having him be plagued with request after request, job after job - well, even if the superhuman himself doesn't tire, Natsume tires, just watching his endless energy fizzle out.
"Hey, Wataru-NIISAN," Natsume says, and Wataru looks up in acknowledgment. "When do you think we can... go shopping TOGETHER? I was really looking forward to TODAY."
Wataru sighs. "As I was, Natsume-kun," he tells him. "I really am sorry for having to take a rain check. I'd love to spend time with you, but I am being pulled in all directions. Left! Right! Up! Down! Oh, life is cruel to me, it really is!"
As Wataru carries out his elaborate act, Natsume muses. "HM, are you free right now, Wataru-NIISAN?"
"Right now? Yes, that is why I am presently speaking with you, Natsume-kun." "In that case," Natsume starts, eyes shining, "what if we go right NOW? There's a night market not too far away, and their takoyaki is simply MARVELLOUS! Would you allow me to treat you to IT?"
The thought of walking through the dimly-lit streets with his adorable little junior, savouring takoyaki tickles Wataru. "You know what, Natsume-kun, I'd be honoured to. Well, take me there right now!"
"Right NOW?"
"Yes, right now! Never mind my stage outfit and silly earrings, I can't bear to waste a second when I could be enjoying my time going shopping with my sweet little junior. Whisk me away, Natsume-kun!"
Wataru really is the senior of his dreams. Natsume grabs onto his arm, and pulls him along. "Thank YOU. We're going to have the best night, I assure YOU."
