HERCULES ZERVOUS; TASK 012: TROPES
ADORKABLE: An adorkable character is, true to the name, "dorky" in some fashion. Maybe they're socially inept or shy. Maybe they're really clumsy. Maybe they have some really, really conspicuous character tic that tends to earn them weird looks. Maybe they're just so darn sweet, that it borders on embarrassing.
ACTION HERO: An Action Hero is a form of protagonist who primarily uses his fighting skills to achieve his goals in a story. If there's something in his way, his main response is to beat it up. This could be because he doesn't have the patience or skills for any other method, or because he just doesn't have the time. But then again, maybe he actually does try other methods first but it always seems to turn out that Violence Really Is the Answer.
BIG GOOD: Whereas the Big Bad is considered the ultimate evil to be defeated, the Big Good is the cornerstone of any heroic organization. This character is explicitly stated to be a counterpart to combat the forces of evil, likely calling all the shots in the organization and is normally the highest ranking or the absolute most powerful.
BOY MEETS GIRL: One of the oldest and most basic plots goes thus: boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy regains girl. Details vary, but those are the major Narrative Beats.
CURSED WITH AWESOME: A character has some "terrible" curse placed on them (if they weren't born with it) that is actually pretty awesome. Hercules has: Superhuman strength, Immortality, Eternal youth, Superhuman endurance & Superhuman agility and reflexes.
FOR GREAT JUSTICE: Hercules is first and foremost a Hero being a child of Zeus and Hera. In order to regain his Godlike status Hercules needs to become a true Hero, later in his life Hercules will sacrifice himself repeatedly in order to save civilians and loved ones from danger and his biggest threat Hades.
FRIENDLESS BACKGROUND: There are a lot of Characterization Tropes that can be used to quickly and non-verbally introduce a character, and one of the sadder ones is the Friendless Background. The character will, through fate or choice, be presented as not having any friends, or at least not within easy visiting or communication range. Hercules finds its difficult to make friends and is considered an outcast by his abnormal abilities.
LOVEABLE JOCK: The Lovable Jock will be a nice guy by default. Though sometimes connected to one, he is rarely the main man of the high school and will usually be in contrast to an actual Jerk Jock.
