“Are you sure you don’t need assistance?” she inquired, looking over at the person in front of her. She’d spent the majority of the battle in the crypts, only being let out when it was all over and she had been tasked to assist those who needed help. She knew that she didn’t have the knowledge to be able to help in more than cleaning wounds, and helping stitch the wounded up. But she wanted to be able to help, especially as her mother’s family had not helped with the battle.

“What are you?!” she didn’t have much time to respond as she was being pushed down not only by this stranger but by her sister as well. They were fussing over her, something about her eye swelling, and whatever other injuries she sustained from the battle. She wouldn’t admit to the fact that her head had been pounding since she’d collided with the wall earlier in the night. There was also the fact that the mark around her neck still felt very present although it had been hours since the night king had squeezed her neck. “I’m fine! Go help other people who need it more!”
