pt 1: Magic and its basics

Magic is separated into two parts: Magic, the action, and Magica, the source. These are two completely different things and should be treated as such, although they are often used and swapped in everyday language/slang

Magica is basically the source of life in this world! It's what keeps everything functioning and is pretty much a form of energy, if that makes sense? Every living being has a core that allows for them to harness and filter raw Magica out, making it safe to navigate in.

Magica is an energy, as stated, but only a few select people can use it, and even fewer can actually see it. Those who can use it are part of a hidden community- the Magi, but we'll touch on that later. Someday.

Magica is an energy that looks similar to how food color floats in water, except its in the air. Pure Magica is dangerous- as raw energy, harnessing it without filtering it is dangerous- and it's so dangerous, in fact, that even overuse of filtered Magica can tear your body apart.

It's a magic type that relies heavily on resources and intent, which is a vague term but it's the best word to describe it. Basically, if you're not 100%- no, 200% sure on what you're going to do with your magic, then it's not going to work. At all. Magica needs full conviction and will not cooperate otherwise.

Additionally, this energy can also be harnessed through the usage of runes and rituals- rituals being a more complicated and large scale version of runes.

There are also materials that are more prone to harnessing Magica, especially crystals for their unique growth patterns/shape.

There's 13 different kinds of Magica, as well, including raw/pure Magica. None of these other 12 types are as dangerous as pure Magica, and these types- while still harmful- are usually the ones harnessed.
