wearewatcher: Watcher Log 001:
Ryan here! Now that we’ve finally announced Watcher, and as we approach our launch on Jan 10th, we’re gonna start posting all the pics we wanted to as we started this new adventure together. So to kick us off, here’s us in my kitchen (our office for a majority of the “dark” period) moments after officially incorporating. We shared our hopes and goals for the future of the company while chomping a bucket of cheese balls. I stress eat sometimes haha. In fact, our twitter header photo for the entirety of this dark period was a picture of cheese balls. Anyways, a swell pic to kick off a long journey with a fun mix of fear and excitement in our eyes. Kinda cool to see how far we’ve come and how far we still (gulp) have to go! Also, if you haven’t already, please help us out by subscribing to youtube.com/Watcher and give the trailer a watch to see what’s to come! (link in bio) Til next time! - Ryan

wearewatcher: First week of working from home complete! 👏👏Hope you’re all holding up well, we know it’s been a difficult time for everyone. We’re thankful that we can continue our work at Watcher remotely, and hopefully the content put out can provide some bit of respite throughout your day. - Steven

wearewatcher: That’s not all from our @/Vidcon London experience - we also took some exclusive behind the scenes pictures with a disposable camera just for you! #WatcherDisposable (1/2) #vidconldn

wearewatcher: WATCHER LOG 002:
Shane here! With that January 10th launch around the corner, we’re gonna be sharing lil bits that we’ve been keeping secret for the past few months. So here’s a photo of Ryan on the day we bought our first few pieces of gear at a local camera shop. Minutes earlier when we actually checked out at the register we were both filled with a palpable mix of excitement and (completely unjustified) dread, as this was the moment we started spending actual money on a thing that had thus far existed exclusively in our three brains and in Steven’s weird graph paper notebooks that he loves so much.
You’re likely thinking, “But Ryan doesn’t look nervous at all here!” And you’re right. Why? They gave us a free hat with the camera, that’s why. Worries evaporate when you get a free hat, and with a renewed sense of creative enthusiasm I asked Ryan to pose like a cinematographer showing off his sick new haul. He looks kinda gassy but otherwise, dude nailed it.
Anyway, if you haven’t yet, swing by youtube.com/watcher (link in bio) and peep the channel trailer. And subscribe if you haven’t yet. No harm in that. If you already have? Hey, thanks. Uh, what else? Reduce, reuse, recycle. Don’t litter. Support your local library. Alright. Plenty left for us to do before launch, so it’s about time I hit the dusty trail. Til next time, Watchers!
-Shane
