the way that his fatherhood becomes so strong that its overbearing and not just in the way that he like..... does all the murder but also just his need to talk to her and make her happy like it is crushing on so many levels and she doesnt even know how to handle the fact that it is clearly too much but also everything she ever wanted like brb crying over how this is so sick and twisted when last week i for sure thought they were just gonna be the sweetest little family like yeah theyd do some fucked up shit but it would still be wholesome father daughter content NO it has to be forever stained now with this and we hardly ever got a real pure moment of them being family

ok so anyways yes the last of us has officially cemented itself as one of my favorite pieces of media. what a wild ride truly and i watched it at a semi pivotal kinda (sorta?) part of my life (tho all of my life the last few years has been pivotal but ANYWAY). iconic 10/10 i love it and it has restored my faith in big budget media a little bit. im gonna need everyone to take notes and remember that heart and humanity are what separates an okay story from an absolutely amazing story like can we please get film and television out of this hole of soulless media. i dont even care that the last of us is a part of the endless remake hell cycle we are in because at least this one deserved it and did something special. like if we are going to be doing this nothing is original remakes only thing we need to at least be saying something with it and this show absolutely fucking did. 100000/10. no, 100000000000000/10.
