Richard Schiff said the scene with Toby and CJ at the pool in In the Shadow of Two Gunmen was originally written with Leo in mind, but he went to John Spencer and the writers and said it felt like more of a Toby scene.
When they play basketball in front of the Oval in The Crackpots and These Women, the cast decided to play basketball with each other before filming. Richard hurt his knee, so he went into his trailer to ice it, then shot the scene for 3 hours. The next day he couldn’t bend his knee and had to use crutches when he visited the Clinton White House.
He just brought up the assassination attempt and spoiled it for his daughter!! She looked so shocked!!
Oh my god his daughter was reading a question from someone and she said “people wanna know if Dulè ever tapped? Ever danced?” And Richard thought she meant like sex lgkdjaahahsj Richard plz
He misses working with John the most cause he doesn’t have an opportunity to again 😩
