A Saturday morning (0630) long run (15M) led me to all sorts of magical places. I didn’t see any humans until the last 2 miles of the run. I saw a BIG bear who caught me talking to myself so he ran off. I tried to get a picture but he ran off. I talked to myself REALLY LOUD for the 10 minutes after seeing him. I was stung on the calf by a yellow jacket at the 5 mile point. Totally my fault. They was there first. Ran through two open fields where I couldn’t see my feet. I was really wishing I had a dog at that point (I’m looking for a retriever or a labradoodle that I can afford). I miss my running buddy. Go have an adventure today. The weather is fine (even when it isn’t)! keep moving forward. #KeepMovingForward #CancerActive #CreateAnAdventure #ChooseYourOwnAdventure #WatchOutForBears #RunningWithCancer #BoneheadCoaching #BoneheadRunning (at North Mills River Recreation Area) https://www.instagram.com/p/CSUKvIsn5HB/?utm_medium=tumblr
