Breitling debuts new watch with premier ladies of film
Actors Caitríona Balfe, Jenna Coleman, Tessa Thompson were amongst the star-studded guestlist celebrating the new Lady Premier watch
Last night, Breitling celebrated the launch of its Lady Premier collection with an intimate dinner at Dorian (the place to be seen in Notting Hill).
The evening was co-hosted by Nia DaCosta and Sandy Powell in partnership with A Rabbit’s Foot – a leading publication curated by filmmaker Charles Finch that explores the intersection of art and culture.
The event gathered some of London’s most influential women in film, fashion and the arts, marking a glamorous prelude to the BFI Festival.
Guests including Caitríona Balfe, Jenna Coleman, Tessa Thompson, Krysty Wilson-Cairns, Gala Gordon, and Niamh Algar joined DaCosta and Powell for an evening that reflected the cinematic storyline of the new Lady Premier timepieces.
Reimagining Breitling’s 1940s Premier Fantaisies, the Lady Premier collection features fluid silhouettes, cascading diamonds, and ombré finishes that celebrate modern femininity as well as founder Billy Breitling’s muse: his wife Beatrice.
And this isn’t the first time that Breitling has found itself amongst leading ladies, with the brand most famously starring on the wrist of Raquel Welch in the 1960s spy film Fathom.
Chef Max Coen’s Michelin-starred menu set the tone for a night of artistry and conversation (oh to be a fly on the wall), as guests admired the watches displayed along Dorian’s marble bar – its sculptural form and luminous finish offering a scenic backdrop to such refined timepieces.
