Right?!
Did they send out requests for applications to universities? Or were all of them just students minding their own business and worrying about how they had no idea what they were going to do after college when suddenly they get a letter saying “Congratulations, you’ve been accepted into this vague internship for a company you’ve never heard of and that you didn’t apply for, but we promise this isn’t some sketchy government agency that is just kidnapping people who have the potential to become the best and brightest of tomorrow.”?
Was there an interview process? Did these kids walk in, having no idea what they were really applying for, only to find themselves being questioned by Martian Manhunter or Superman or Wonder Woman or Batman? I can’t see Green Lantern or Flash doing interviews. “So can you type at least 30 words a minute?”
Do they have families? Do their families know what they do for a living? “Mom, you’ll never guess where I just got a job! I’m a member of the Justice League! Well, not the actual League part of the Justice League. I’ll be working in their accounting office!”

He’s....
He doesn’t get how much he hurts I guess. Like i tell him I talk to him about it, but in s lot of ways he’s to wrapped up in his own experiences to understand I experience them differently. He worked 3 jobs and had full time school with out a mental break down so I should too type.
I do tell him, I do say, hey you know laughing at me hurts a lot. But he had that parent thing where he didn’t mean to hurt me so I don’t get an apology.
I’m just fragile now for lack of a better word. Pulled a touch too thin.
