I know waterwork is no longer allowed at SeaWorld, but do they still desensitize the animals to people being in the water? If years in the future someone slips and falls into the pool with Amaya will she know the person isn't to be used as a toy?
most of the time I rlly don’t like going to work but then I have days like today where i remember why I like being a swim coach. I taught adults today n met this rlly nice woman who’s scared of the water, I helped her start floating on her back and she was rlly appreciative. idk it’s cool to help ppl that’s why im still at this job tbh

I moved down to Florida from Massachusetts in October of 2009 to pursue the whole SeaWorld dream thing. I wasn’t living in Orlando at first and I only made it to SeaWorld twice before we lost Dawn and killer whale waterwork ended. All I had was a faulty point and shoot, too. I found my old album and went on another feel trip. Two things we’ll never see again. Kalina, and water work. It’s sad how much has been lost.
