Toga was sprawled across the couch in common area of the student dorms, dressed in a very light weight set of pajamas and looking down right miserable. It wasn’t enough the temperatures had reached a record high every day that week- oh no. No, that would be too easy.
There had been a storm not too long ago and power to their building was knocked out. It was hot, humid, and to top everything else off there was no power- which meant there was nothing she could do to take her mind off the smothering environment that seemed more determined to finish her off
She stared at the ceiling with a look of burning hatred. Curse every single other student who had gotten to sleep before the heat crept into the building to submerge them in something that felt like the worlds worst and longest sauna. Curse them. May they all stub their toes on the couch when they got up in the morning-
She immediately sat up when she heard footsteps.
Thankfully, her eyes were more or less adjusted to the dark, so she could see enough of a silhouette to tell who it was.
