She was pretty out of breath and had a fair amount of exertion and muscle strain. She didn't outwardly show it but she was hurting a fair bit.

Link still doesn’t tend to say much, even after everything that’s happened. But it’s nice to get away. It’s nice to… change up the scenery.

Along the shores of Horon Lagoon, navigating the rocky sands and pointy edges. Ideally they’d go farther, but he knows with Mipha’s responsibilities going across the kingdom for a mini vacation isn’t exactly reasonable. This place is nice enough, scenic and the high rocky structures means the elements aren’t so harsh. The water isn’t too strong with its currents.

Despite her insistence Link rejected her offer to help to climb up the rocks. She had the advantage of shooting out the water. He wasn’t so lucky but he didn’t mind scrambling up them. Once he laid out a blanket and pulled off a backpack with their food it was worth it. Mipha looks… nice all relaxed for once. The golden warm glow of the sunset turning the red of her scales into a rich fiery glow.

He pulled out a grilled fish skewer and handed it to her. He pulled one out for himself and began nibbling on it, his eyes on her, watching to make sure she’s enjoying everything.

She suppose its fair, though not predatory by any means, they were not defenseless.

Link shrank away from Mipha's touch. It's remarkably cold against his feverish forehead. A bead of sweat gathered at the nape of his neck. “I'm fine,” He signed, a bit sluggishly than he was used to.

“Just a little headcold.” Link didn't want to worry Mipha. It wasn't good for one's mind to be so concerned with stress over a little illness. “Go back to sleep."

Mipha softly smiles at the sight of the princess she's grown in size since the last time she last saw Zelda and is also now queen of the Zora. " Princess! What a pleasure it is to see you again.

A genuine excited smile grows on Zelda’s face as she sees Mipha. It feels like ages. And after so much happening in the world time felt both like a blur and yet slow.

“Prin.. Queen Mipha!” She caught herself and corrected. Alas she was sure Mipha of all people wouldn’t care too much about a fuddled title. “Yes it’s wonderful seeing you too! The role is suiting you. Are you enjoying it?”

@watergraced8 [ drops little kiddo Mipha here] " Link what's a dragon?" Mipha asks curiously. She overhead one of the Hylian visitors to Zora domain mention one and ever since she's been intrigued to find out what exactly that is.

Link doesn't answer her immediately, already focused on whittling the wood into a shape of a misshapen bear. Truthfully, he doesn't know either. He's too young to join in the monster hunting. But not too young to be trained in swordsmanship, apparently.

“Something big.” He offered, shrugging his shoulders. “They don't let you join, either?” The elders, he means, although he hasn't seen many of the older Zora's, so he can only go on with what he'd gleamed from his side.

“I heard them talking. Sounds like it breathes fire!” A beat. “Want to go find out? If we go at nightfall when everyone's asleep, we can take it by surprise!”
