A food mashup trend is storming the international baking scene. The bread that looks so much like watermelon, but doesn’t taste anything like it, was said to originate from Jimmy’s Bakery in Jiaohsi, Taiwan. Check out the hashtag page for the different variations of this very deceiving masterpiece. Some Instagram users are even composing photos to make them look like the fruit. :)
According to one article, the bread is made of bamboo charcoal, green-tea powder, and strawberry. It was originally created to trick children into eating properly during the hot summer months.
Well, summer or not, I think we’d be happy to eat them. :p
