WATERWEEK
by The Low Bros
With backgrounds in street culture, German brothers Christoph and Florin Schmidt, aka The Low Bros, use a cast of several recurring characters to "examine the contradictions associated with identity in a digital age." The brothers have coined the term "retro-futuristic" to describe their bold geometric animal creations which serve as an allusion to the primal instincts of human nature. In early 2018 the brothers brought their clean and unmistakable work to Los Angeles where they painted three walls including this one at @TheContainerYard on E 4th St in the LA Arts District. This piece was created as part of Waterweek, organized by @vivaconaguacalifornia as part of its ongoing effort to establish universal access to clean drinking water. @low_bros/
