Bees have been my favorite insect since I was a kid. 💛 They're hard working, productive, feminine and intimidating. Every worker bee is female, and they only keep a few males in the hive to serve the Queen and reproduce. I love that they are visually unique and beautiful while also wielding a stinger that scares off any potential threats. They're creators. They produce honey, beeswax and bee pollen, all of which are amazingly useful and full of nutrients. Because of this, alot of bees are factory farmed, never getting to taste their own honey. So if you do purchase any of these products, please buy local, sustainable and raw, because we care about our bees! On top of this, the honey bee population has reached a massive decline in recent years, mainly due to pesticide use. Buying organic is one way to help. All in all, if the bees die, so do we.
